Amy Morio, RN, MSN, NP-C

Amy attended Illinois Wesleyan University and then Southern Illinois University where she received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 1994. She began her nursing career in Washington, D.C. in inpatient cardiac nursing. In 1997, she returned to the St. Louis area to help care for her grandfather whose health was failing. In the hours that she was not taking care of her grandfather, she worked in overnight pediatric home pulmonary/ventilator care as well as inpatient orthopedic rehabilitation.

In an effort to help cover the nighttime hours needed in the care of her grandfather, she interviewed with Dr. Yadava for a daytime position and became his very first hire. She initially worked with him solely in a clinical role as a nurse in a large orthopedic practice in which he was a partner. In 2001, when he decided to open his own private solo practice, Performance Rehabilitation, her role grew to include practice administration.

In 2013, she furthered her education and received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Maryville University. She is a certified Nurse Practitioner and continues to serve in a clinical and administrative role at Performance Rehabilitation. In 2017, she celebrated her 20th anniversary as an employee of Dr. Yadava.
